I'm torn, I really like the new S...like, really really. As an AMG its damn near flawless. As a short wheelbase, well...I'd have a hard time turning it down over anything. I have a thing for big sexy sedans. But this is nice too. I was just hoping for more of a change, since the E-Class is basically all new outside.

Agreed, Mercedes is really stepping up their design game, and it shows. Their cars are beautiful. Their SUV's are ugly though.

I kind of like the SUVs, I think they look a lot better than they used to...I mean the face lifted GL looks so much better I think than the old one. But yeah the cars are really starting to look great. Really like where they are headed.

Yeah I want one of those so badly. I can't wait till they come out so I can spec it up on the website and cry at the price. I'm loving the 63 too...I just hate how they force us to get it with AWD and long-wheelbase only, and the 250-275 pounds that adds.

Me too. I'm not sure I like this push towards AWD-only in the US, although I guess they have to compete with Audi...but I know I'd rather have a RWD AMG car, personally.

Yeah it was one of the main reasons AMG was awesome, next thing you know the M division is gonna start doing it. Scary stuff.

I know man. Not sure how I feel about it. Of course, we are closing quickly on the time when 700 hp, 600+ torque (starting early and staying over the whole rev range) sport sedans will be the norm. Your average luxury car buyer might not literally survive without it. Although part of me likes that...keeps the idiots away...
